While in Viet Nam I made a futile effort to learn basic, simple Vietnamese. Ha, Ha. I actually hired an English-speaking Vietnamese pilot as my teacher and purchased the hefty Vietnamese dictionary "Anh-Viet" seen in the photo.
By the time I was attempting to learn a tiny bit of Vietnamese, I was already knowingly speaking out against the U.S. war against the Vietnamese. My Vietnamese English speaking pilot teacher asked me about my "adversarial" views on the war incorporating the question as part of my lessons. It led interestingly enough to a discussion about the U.S. War. He found my views fascinating and admitted that most Vietnamese wanted the USA out and that Ho Chi Minh was revered by most Vietnamese people.
Special Note: I did not pose for this photo and I have no idea who took it. I often had officer visits to my small private trailer so it was likely one of them.

Niger. Another anti-colonial tipping point impacting all of Africa not controlled by the West. I think there is no turning back now for the colonized, and the West's holiday from history, from reality of its exploitation is over. The U.S. and NATO war against Russia and the majority of the world supporting Russia, is part of the recognition of the grand lies of the exceptional West. Finally!!

“The Algorithm” by Caitlin Johnstone
Listen to a reading of "The Algorithm" by Tim Foley on caitlinjohnstone.com.au
The algorithm knows what you want before you do.
The algorithm knows you better than you know yourself.
The algorithm knew you back before you were a screaming slime child,
back before they washed off the uterine gunk and handed you a smartphone and made you get a landlord,
back before you knew that war is sane and poverty is normal,
back before you were mature enough to understand that speech is violence and cluster bombs are peace.
You can trust the algorithm to tell you the truth — not the truth you asked for but the truth you need.
The truth that sees Nazis in America but not in Ukraine.
The truth that sees war crimes in Ukraine but never in Yemen.
The truth that applauds millionaire comedians who never criticize the Pentagon for their bravery in criticizing trans people.
The truth that sails aircraft carriers into the South China Sea and sends headless hounds built by Boston Dynamics to patrol the streets and uphold the rule of law.
The algorithm learns your political biases and feeds you self-validating social media posts to assist you in confirming them.
The algorithm listens to your conversations and presents you with helpful advertising to assist you in achieving your maximum consumer potential.
Don't cover your laptop camera like some weird conspiracy theorist, the algorithm is trying to watch you masturbate.
The algorithm is always a step ahead of you.
You have never once fooled the algorithm.
The algorithm knows you act confident but secretly you fear you're inadequate and everyone hates you.
The algorithm knows that those times you quickly pause and screw your eyes shut are because you remembered something embarrassing that you did in the past.
It's okay.
Don't worry.
Your secret is safe with the algorithm.
It's a private little secret just between you and the algorithm and the NSA.
In the old days we prayed to omniscient gods who never existed.

Biden, Blinken, Sullivan, Nuland, et al., are so full of hatred for Russia it literally makes them stupid...and extraordinarily dangerous. They think of Russia as weak like in the 1990s, and that the USA is superior like in the 1990s. It has all changed. Since the U.S. and NATO have no off ramp, they will likely be more tempted to use nukes to relieve themselves of total failure and embarrassment. They are out of their minds, literally, psychotic out of touch with reality operating as if they possess total impunity. They seem to ignore that the majority of the world oppose them, something outside of the framework of their conditioned minds.
We are all endangered from their psychosis and stupidity.

My older brother and only sibling, Dwight Lindsay Willson, died three years ago on August 15, 2020, at nearly 89 years of age. He was a lifelong and well-loved U.S. American high school history teacher. I miss him a lot. Our parents were on the far religious right, and as my older brother he assisted me in liberating ourselves from the sham of organized religion.
My lower working-class rural parents had an ideal of raising the "perfect" Christian family, Bible readings every day, church every Sunday without fail; our father was a deacon in the Baptist church. Our family was known in the community as a wholesome Christian family. But, my parents were ardent racists, hating almost anyone who was not White European, as well as Catholics, Jewish people, and "foreigners". Their views were not that much different from many others of the local population during the McCarthy era.
My brother was the only other witness beside myself who grasped the incredibly damaging hypocrisy with which we were raised. It is a major reason why I miss him so much, as he was a partner in my liberation process. He also was the only member of our extended family who understood my radical changes after my Viet Nam experience.

“Brilliance”
Quotations from Albert Einstein:
“I didn't arrive at my understanding of the fundamental laws of the universe through my rational mind.”
“Concerning matter, we have been all wrong. What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses.”
“Matter is spirit reduced to point of visibility. There is no matter.”
"Time and space are not conditions in which we live, but modes by which we think.”
“Physical concepts are free creations of the human mind, and are not, however it may seem, determined by the external world."
“Time does not exist – we invented it. Time is what the clock says. The distinction between the past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.”
“I think 99 times and find nothing. I stop thinking, swim in silence, and the truth comes to me."
"The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, the solution comes to you and you don’t know how or why.”
"A human being experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us.”
“Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
"Our separation from each other is an optical illusion."
“When something vibrates, the electrons of the entire universe resonate with it. Everything is connected.”
“The greatest tragedy of human existence is the illusion of separateness.”
“Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”
“We are souls dressed up in sacred biochemical garments and our bodies are the instruments through which our souls play their music.”
“When you examine the lives of the most influential people who have ever walked among us, you discover one thread that winds through them all. They have been aligned first with their spiritual nature and only then with their physical selves.”
“The true value of a human being can be found in the degree to which he has attained liberation from the self.”
“The ancients knew something, which we seem to have forgotten.”
“The more I learn of physics, the more I am drawn to metaphysics.”
“One thing I have learned in a long life: that all our science, measured against reality, is primitive and childlike. We still do not know one thousandth of one percent of what nature has revealed to us. It is entirely possible that behind the perception of our senses, worlds are hidden of which we are unaware.”
“I’m not an atheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books.”
"The common idea that I am an atheist is based on a big mistake. Anyone who interprets my scientific theories this way, did not understand them."
"Everything is determined, every beginning and ending, by forces over which we have no control. It is determined for the insect, as well as for the star. Human beings, vegetables, or cosmic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible piper."
“The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It will transcend a personal God and avoid dogma and theology.”
“Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.”
“Everything is energy and that is all there is to it.”
“Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality.
It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”
"I am happy because I want nothing from anyone. I do not care about money. Decorations, titles or distinctions mean nothing to me. I do not crave praise. I claim credit for nothing.”
“A happy man is too satisfied with the present to dwell too much on the future."

The United States has a large regional DRONE airbase in NIGER. Hmm!!..
The U.S. military is unable to fly drones from a base in Niger because the country’s airspace has been closed after a coup overthrew the government in late July, a U.S. official said.
Known as “Nigerien Air Base 201,” the installation cost $110 million to build and it features a 6,200-foot runway for MQ-9 Reapers as well as manned aircraft. The U.S. military began conducting drone flights from the base in November 2019.
About 1,100 U.S. troops are currently deployed to Niger, according to the Defense Department. The country is an important partner in the U.S. military’s efforts to counter the Islamic State group and other terrorist organizations in Africa. In October 2017, four U.S. soldiers were killed near the Nigerien village of Tongo Tongo after being attacked by more than 100 ISIS fighters.
Politico first reported that U.S. military drones were unable to fly from a base near Agadez, Niger, after the country’s armed forces ousted Niger’s president in a July 26 coup.

“Obama did this, Trump did that, blah blah blah” by Caitlin Johnstone
We talk about US presidents all the time — Obama did this, Trump did that, blah blah blah. But really it's never the president doing those things, it's the empire. The president is just the face of the operation, the name they put on the door that they change every few years to create the illusion that the US government is responsive to the will of the electorate.
Really if you look solely at the raw data of the US power structure around the world (where the weapons are going, where the resources are going, where the money is and isn't going, where the diplomats are and aren't going, etc), you can't tell from year to year when the White House is changing hands. You can't tell from that raw data what political party the current president belongs to or what platform he campaigned on, and you can't tell when he's replaced by someone from the other party with another platform. The raw data of the empire keeps moving in basically the same way without any meaningful interruption.
So it's not really true to say that Obama did this or Trump did that, they're just the face that happened to be on the operation when it was time to kill Gaddafi or begin the Pivot to Asia or sanction Venezuela or start arming Ukraine or whatever. They're not leaders leading the US government in various directions based on what they think the best policies are, they're empire managers who are responding to whatever the needs of the empire happen to be each day, using whatever justifications or partisan leverage they can muster in that moment.
And Americans don't get to vote on any of that stuff. They don't get to vote on what will need to be done to facilitate the needs of a globe-spanning empire, or if there should be a globe-spanning empire at all. The behavior of the empire is never on the ballot. The only things that are ever on the ballot are issues which stand no possibility of ever interfering in the operation of the empire, like whether or not the president will appoint Supreme Court justices who oppose abortion or support gun control. And the voting populace is continually kept at a 50/50 split on as many of those issues as possible to keep both sides tugging on the rope as hard as possible so they don't look up and notice that the real large-scale behavior of their government is completely unaffected by the back and forth gains and losses of the tug-o-war game.
Really the only reason to talk about US presidents in terms of Obama did this and Trump did that is to highlight this point. To highlight the fact that Obama continued and expanded all the most malignant policies of his predecessor, and that Trump continued and expanded all the most malignant policies of his. To disrupt all the dopey partisan narratives about things getting better under Biden or worse under Trump or that Obama was a progressive or Trump was a peacemaker. By pointing out the horrible things that happened under each administration, regardless of party affiliation or platform, the illusion that Americans are controlling the behavior of their government using their votes can be worn away.
And then the possibility for real change opens up. The longer Americans are convinced that they can vote their way out of problems they never voted their way into in the first place, the longer they can be dissuaded from using the power of their numbers to force real material changes by real material means.

The United States has been built and maintained on destruction of others disguised by the term "humanitarian intervention"
“U.S. the Destroyer, but Stymied by the Resilient Nicaraguans”
I grew up in a central New York town that was completely destroyed along with all the other Iroquois towns under General George Washington’s orders beginning in 1779. The Iroquois described Washington as the Town Destroyer.
The first U.S. military expedition in Nicaragua was in 1853-54 when U.S. President Pierce ordered the town of Greytown (San Juan del Norte) totally destroyed when they refused to accommodate Cornelius Vanderbilt’s order to comply with Vanderbilt’s instructions to obey his needs for building a transit route across Nicaragua. The U.S. Marines bombarded the town for 4 hours and then the Marines landed and burned what was left. This once again, established the White colonialist’s contempt for local autonomy while murdering any resistors.
In Viet Nam where I was present in 1969, when all was said and done at the end of the U.S. war, 6,000,000 peasants had been murdered with 13,000 of their 21,000 villages destroyed by bombing and ground actions, despite the fact that no Vietnamese ever threatened the United States. Massacres occurred so regularly day and night that they were normalized, considered routine activities.
Today the U.S. continues its destructive policies, as it has never learned diplomacy. It only knows brute force, threats, or policies like sanctions that inflict suffering on the population. The White male exceptionalism is so historic it is deeply ingrained in the U.S. Psyche. They don’t think of alternatives unless facing a nuclear opponent.
There is little reason to believe that the collective psychosis of the U.S. culture can even comprehend a revolutionary society committed to justice like Nicaragua. Nicaragua’s resilience is an international example for global struggles against U.S. imperialism. And its persistence stymies U.S. policy makers.
The U.S. historical characteristics can be described thus: crooked and cruel; destroyer and deceiver; savage and sadistic; and violent and vindictive. Yeah for Nicaragua for defying this horrible U.S. cultural DNA, serving as an example for the world.

The habit of voting in the USA for national candidates like the President and Congress is a major distraction from radical change. The USA is NOT nor has it ever been a "democracy", but instead a patriarchal oligarchy designed to plunder at will to benefit a small minority at the expense of everyone else and the earth. The system is totally rigged and our votes simply legitimize a horrible fraud, and grand lie.

My most important formative years were approximately 1941 to 1980, concluding forty years ago. Virtually all of my conditioning occurred before computers, before the internet, before social media, before digital (remember analogue), and before Artificial intelligence. Virtually all of my life was formed from person-to-person interactions and conversations, and reading real books on the printed pages.
I cannot recognize modern society now so dominated by virtual and impersonal technically "sophisticated" and "amazing" technology. I do not like it, and find myself resentful that I cannot escape this artificial theater of the absurd. Of course, I am posting to my Facebook page every day enabled by this technology, and I am aware of the contraction and my complicity. I don’t like it, but I’m not sure how to deal with it.
I still don't like it and want out. Out! I feel trapped and am trying to envision a way to live another way. So far, I haven't found that way.

“The USA’s Plan to Destroy the Soviet Union Immediately at the Conclusion of WWII – The MADNESS of the WEST Is Always a Threat”
The Infamous “WW III Blueprint” to Wage a Nuclear Attack against the Soviet Union (September 15, 1945): Barely two weeks after the official end of World War II (September 2, 1945), the U.S. War Department issued a directive (September 15, 1945) to “Erase the Soviet Union off the Map” (66 cities with 204 atomic bombs), when the U.S. and USSR were allies, confirmed by declassified documents. (For further details see Chossudovsky, 2017). According to a secret (declassified) document dated September 15, 1945, “the Pentagon had envisaged blowing up the Soviet Union with a coordinated nuclear attack directed against major urban areas. All major cities of the Soviet Union were included in the list of 66 “strategic” targets. The irony is that this plan was released by the War Department PRIOR to onset of the Cold War as is revealed in all the documents of the September 15, 1945 Operation.
The Cold War Era: The Nuclear Arms Race was the direct result of America’s September 1945 plan to “blow up the Soviet Union”, formulated by the U.S. War Department. The Soviet Union tested its first nuclear bomb in 1949. Without the Manhattan Project and the War Department’s September 15, 1945 “World War III Blueprint”, the Arms Race would not have occurred. The September 15, 1945 War Department set the stage for numerous plans to wage World War III against Russia and China: The Cold War List of 1200 Targeted Cities: This initial 1945 list of sixty-six cities was updated in the course of the Cold War (1956) to include some 1200 cities in the USSR and the Soviet block countries of Eastern Europe (see declassified documents below). The bombs slated for use were more powerful in terms of explosive capacity than those dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Over a two-year period my office consulted with over 1,500 Viet Nam veterans, filing claims for many applying for VA Benefits. It was in this back office that I held very private and confidential consultations with veterans discussing many stressful and disturbing events in their lives. It was a kind of crisis counseling for starters.
One veteran I will always remember is AL. He sat in our office public area virtually every day, always drunk, but always exceptionally polite. One day he asked to speak with me privately in my back office, and not knowing what he had in mind, pleaded with me to be patient with him. For 15 minutes I sat patiently as he sat on the FLOOR in front of me, making many pantomime gestures with his hands and arms, as his face revealed he felt tormented. He said nothing but he was sobbing. After 15 minutes he thanked me for witnessing his expressions, and proceeded to describe in detail a Viet Nam story. AL was only 5 feet tall which suited his duties as a “tunnel rat” during which he “hunted” “VC” enemy hiding in tunnels. On one such mission he reached the end of a tunnel and witnessed a group of Vietnamese mothers and children, about a dozen, now trapped at the end of the tunnel. He opened fire, killing all of them. AL has lived with this story all these many years, and realized he was a murderer for the invading U.S. Americans, and desperately was attempting to bring these people back to life, as if creating them out of clay. We sat and cried together holding hands for at least 15 minutes.
A year later AL dropped dead on the sidewalk in front of our office of a heart attack and cirrhosis of the liver.
He was 42.

“The Stupidity of the USA”
Biden, Blinken, Sullivan, Newland, Burns, etc., as is the U.S. Congress, are stuck in the old Cold War mentality rooted in superiority and inflicting destruction on others as the way to get OUR way. This has always been conducted with virtually complete impunity, preventing any acknowledgement of shame, and therefore an almost complete preemption of a maturity that comes from the experience of learning one’s humility and shortcomings.
They still think that Russia has LOST the war in Ukraine, and that just a bit more time and additional military resources will enable Ukraine to prevail. This is pure fantasy at the expense of the Ukrainian people, as if they do not matter. This U.S. policy is one of the most insane, criminal acts of “diplomacy in world history. Thankfully, it will lead to the end of U.S. hegemony, the collapse of U.S. society, and perhaps the European Union and NATO, due to sheer stupidity rooted in the delusion of superiority. Dollar diplomacy is at its near end, and along with it, U.S. control of the world’s economy. I call this just plain stupid and, of course, dangerous as well as totally immoral.
From my Viet Nam experience I understood in a new way that being born a White male citizen of the U.S. indoctrinated me with unearned and undeserved privilege. This had made me stupid. Yes, stupid, very different from intelligence. And this, in turn, tends to motivate one to remain stupid about the nature of the system that brought on this privilege. To emerge from stupidity, I have found takes courage, and a careful listening to the heart, and a willingness to stumble and stagger.
Following courtroom protocol of automatic deference to authority while looking at the U.S. flag when knowing what it truly represents, suggested to me that I had to leave the law almost 50 years ago, and embark on an experimental journey of rediscovering my authentic self with little guidance for taking next steps.
Because the USA nation has never been held to account for its pattern of genocides, we suffer from a national stupidity which is extremely dangerous. Immunity destroys a sense of justice, and everyone suffers in the end.
We will pay dearly.

“Manipulating The Masses: Edward Bernays & Why The System Needs Your Compliance” by Mac Slavo - Information Clearing House"
(Written June 16, 2020)
You are being controlled. You are being manipulated. You are being brainwashed. If you are still stuck believing that your vote counts and choosing sides is “moral” in a system set up against you from day one, the propaganda has worked.
In this video, we look at the ideas of Edward Bernays, nephew of Sigmund Freud, and a pioneering mind behind the field of public relations and modern propaganda –particularly his ideas on how group psychology, and the illusion of choice, can be used to manipulate the masses.
This is all about dividing and conquering. While we argue about which political puppet is less evil than the other, they wreak havoc on us and destroy everything in their path for power, fame, and wealth.
“If you want to make the best change, reject the system, the entire system, and refuse to vote. The task of any control system, therefore, is to maintain the facade of political choice and central to this is ‘the people’s right to vote’”, writes Ben O’Hanlon for Medium.
The easiest way to divide people is through political theater. This is going to be a tough red pill for people to swallow…
It literally doesn’t matter who you vote for. If your vote actually mattered, it would have already been made illegal.
“Let us control the money of a nation, and we care not who makes its laws.” – A “maxim” of the House of Rothschilds.
This isn’t an astonishing or groundbreaking statement. On some visceral level, we all understand this. So why then, is it so easy to divide people into political groups so a small handful of other people can rule over them? Basically, propaganda – the illusion of choice keeps people stuck believing they are free to decide when it really doesn’t matter much anyway. You don’t get to vote for the people behind the scenes that make all the decisions anyway, only the puppet whose face will be attached to those decisions.
Voting provides a corrupt system with legitimacy, regardless of who you vote for. It implies that you consent to the outcome because you participated even if you wanted the other guy to win. The use of dividing people into political parties is not new, but the desire to break free from them and the ruling class. in general, is.
There is something being concocted in the dens of power, far beyond the public eye, and it doesn’t bode well for the future of this country.
“Anytime you have an entire nation so mesmerized by political theater and public spectacle that they are oblivious to all else, you’d better beware.” – John W. Whitehead
Voting is nothing more than an illusion of choice. It’s akin to slave putting a piece of paper in a box that asks the master to be free. It doesn’t work that way. Figure out the difference between right and wrong, and one of the first things that happens is a refusal to vote for the lesser of two evils…which is still evil, by the way. Because any master who thinks they own anyone else is evil and all politicians think they own you to some degree.
Besides, how do you know who won? The mainstream media tells you, right? And they are so honest, just, and trustworthy, and would NEVER do what they are told…oh, wait. Yeah, it’s that insane.
Americans Are “Too Idiotic to See How Enslaved They Are” Even As the Gates of Hell Open Up
Trump bent immediately to the will of the deep state. Like a twig in the wind.
It’s time to be honest about that. The people never had a champion in the ring.
Let us talk no more of “democracy,” or of “voting”. Of course, that is hard to accept and acknowledge, because it is so devastating to the delusions that hold individuals together from day to day.
Many people may not even be capable of holding the thought or notion that they might oppose or stop it. Most Americans are now literally numb to the actions of its own government, the lives it is destroying and the lies it is working for.
“The candidates and the creatures of the state who have willingly lied and deceived the people while looking them in the eye (and pretending to have good reasons) are recklessly and wantonly jeopardizing the world in a way that that hasn’t been seen since the cold war.” –SHTFPlan
“None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
If you are being honest with yourself, you would surely know by now that you don’t require a ruler, a master, or an authoritarian to make decisions for you. It’s time we begin to own ourselves and reject the power-hungry politicians will to rule over us all. People seem to be getting increasingly angry at those who are trying to wake them up and free them from the mental chains they’ve put on themselves. I see this as a sign that the system’s propaganda has worked, but only on those easy to control from the start.

The national bird of Nicaragua, the “Guardabarranco”:
August 31, 2023
September 1, 1987, 36 years ago was my direct confrontation with the death machine, and my near death in Concord, CA Naval Weapons Station, attempting to block death machines destined to murder campesinos in Nicaragua and El Salvador.
Not for the faint of heart, that day my friends saved my life, with my partner Holley organizing immediate first aid while awaiting the ambulance.
Photos: Standing in front of a large Nuremberg Actions Banner, about 10 am, Tuesday, September 1, waiting for the first train of the day; I start to realize train is not going to stop, bracing my right arm on the right rail as if to jump right; My leg can be visibly seen under the locomotive, with one of legs already amputated; Brian's partner Holley frantically watching his crumpled body under a box car, awaiting to get to his body; a bloodied and severely wounded Brian being attended to by many friends and his partner Holley, all who witnessed the attempted murder, frantically trying to stop Brian's bleeding after a Navy ambulance arrived but quickly left saying Brian's body was lying on the public road right-a-way, but NOT on Navy property, delaying a called ambulance by 17 minutes.
Never imagined still being alive 36 years later in my 83rd year, holy shit! Thank You, revolutionary Nicaragua for allowing me to live in your country!
